I believe wholeheartedly in the value of working with mentors. These investments have been some of the most impactful I have ever made in myself.
I feel the clients who are drawn to our containers choose to mentor with us, not only because of the experience I hold or the wisdom of the herd, but because they know I will be deep in the trenches alongside them as I am committed to doing my own personal work and know the journey of self-development never ends.
I’m not here to show you the way.
My role is to support you in finding your way.
While every horse person is on their own unique journey, there are times when we realize we need support from someone who has walked a similar path to the one we’re on.
Especially those of us who feel like we are the only ones in our world who see horses the way we do. The ones who see discomfort where others see ‘bad behaviour’. Who see coping mechanisms where others see ‘vices’. Who see shut down where others see ‘bomb proof’. Who see attempts at communication and self-expression where others see horses being ‘difficult’.
There came a point in my journey when I realized part of the reason I was walking it was so that I would be able to mentor others who would one day walk it themselves.
To be able to relate to those who are experiencing what I once lived myself. To build bridges from what is widely accepted as ‘normal’ in the horse world to a new paradigm where consent is the foundation of all horse-human relationships.
And although it took me some time to believe in that call to mentorship, I now hold it as one of the most sacred aspects of my purpose and work in this lifetime.
OUR MENTORSHIP OFFERINGS
We are currently offering two ways to mentor with us.

This popular intro offering was designed for those those who have something specific they want support with, or who want to experience what it’s like to be held in mentorship with us before jumping into our longer container, Advocate.
Those who have entered this container are often interested in creating more authentic partnerships with their horses, developing their intuitive gifts, and/or connecting with the work they feel called to do with horses.
We have worked with equine professionals across many areas of the industry to support them in reigniting their passion for their work, connecting to the mission and purpose of their work, feeling confident communicating with clients, and building brands that feel aligned with their business and the messages they want to share.
This container is also often booked by those who want to dive deep into their Cosmic Codes (Human Design, Astrology and Gene Keys), step more fully into their purpose and authenticity, or learn practical energy work tools to support their self-development journey.

This container is in support of guardians and professionals who want to shift from the control-based practices of the conventional equine industry to consent-based relationships.
Advocate is for those who are here to become the antidote to harmful industry practices and build a bridge to the new paradigm of co-creative partnerships with horses.

ADVOCATE
An immersive three-month mentorship experience

From the moment we step into connection with horses, the journey of advocacy begins.
Being an advocate is embedded within the role of equine guardian and professional.
There is no separation between advocacy for our horses and ourselves. We are our horse’s voice and guardian, which means their sovereignty is an extension of our own. No matter where we are on our journey, a bond is formed and our lives become reflections of one another.
This is why when we advocate for our horses, we advocate for ourselves.
One of the most important lessons my herd have offered me is that our horses need us to evolve and grow alongside them. It doesn’t work when we elevate them above us and it does’t work when we elevate ourselves above them. Our individual and collective evolution is most profound when it happens in tandem.
A journey from control to co-creative partnerships
The path that so many who partner with horses are here to walk is from the dominance and control-based ways that conventional horsemanship so often teaches and perpetuates to consent-based, co-creative partnerships that honours the sentience, sovereignty and innate wisdom of horses.
I have walked the depths of this journey. I have found its sharp edges and been cut by them more times than I can remember. I have felt helpless, unable to speak on behalf of my horses or myself. I have been in abusive relationships with those I trusted to care for my horses and guide me to be a better horsewoman. I have been burned in the fire of that misguided trust again and again and again. I have learned hard-fought lessons and my horses and I bear the scars of them.
And while these experiences were what once broke me down to my core, to a place where I no longer recognized myself, they have also been the source of an inner strength I didn’t know I had.
They have been the catalyst for the cultivation of a deep trust within myself. A trust that now carries me through every aspect of my life.
And while I moved through the process of my inner work that ultimately led to this deep self-trust, I realized that all of these wounds would someday heal and become a connection point to another who had been wounded in the same way.
I realized that our love of our horses would one day bring us together so that we could know we were not alone. And that our commitment to our horses would be the greatest source for our commitment to ourselves.
There is something unbelievably beautiful that happens when we come together in community and heal together. All of us, horse and human, reclaiming our individual sovereignty and creating a new path forward from a place of love, mutual respect and partnership with our horses, and with each other.
This journey that has spanned three decades of my life has led me here, to create this space of healing, community and expansion born from the culmination of every experience I lived before it.
To walk this path of advocacy the horses have asked of me. And to illuminate that path for others who find themselves in the darkness of this journey, yet know they are being called to be with horses in a different way, and help build a bridge to a new paradigm of horse-human relationships.
To embody the change the horses are asking of us and become the antidote the industry is ready for. This is Advocate.

This container is a safe space where you can:
